The Viking is a great go to for my friends and I for a lovely lunch, lovely staff, great food and atmosphere but the reason for this post, was in today with a friend ordered drinks, lunch and suddenly realised we had been waiting quite a while for the food to arrive only to discover our order hadn't been received by the kitchen staff. The problem, quickly rectified, and would you believe the cost of the food was reimbursed. Viking, I like your style. Much appreciated.

Went for mothers day today.
Plenty of bar staff but no one serving drinks..no acknowledgement when standing at the bar .
Eventually I got served then we had to wait for 50 minutes for for dinner to arrive.
I understand it is mothers day but we had booked for 4pm 😤😤

Brilliant bar Restaurant excellent service food delicious fish and chips salad I would highly recommend this little diamond of a pub restaurant

Was in last night for a few drinks staff are all lovely and had a great night but the reason its not 5 stars is that the ladies toilets are still broke! Being able to use 1 cubicle that you can't flush and have to put the used toilet paper in a bin bag which I would think the staff have to dispose of which I think isn't fare for them.

Had a family lunch here a couple of weeks ago. We all enjoyed our meals and the girl who served us was attentive & really friendly. Will definitely eat here again!
