Spa In The City

A lovely experience, thoroughly enjoyed all the different treatments. The body scrub was both relaxing and invigorating, massage was great, could really feel her working hard on knots. Facial and head massage was perfect, so soothing for my recurring headaches, and skin was glowing afterwards. Highly recommended and great value deal

I had an excellent experience at the spa today. The massage was truly outstanding, and the therapist really listened to my concerns—especially the tension I’ve been having at the back of my right neck. She was very attentive and worked carefully to help release the knot, which made a noticeable difference.

I also appreciated the helpful advice she gave me about trying a hot stone massage next time, which I’m definitely interested in. Overall, I’m very happy with the service and would highly recommend it.

Absolutely sensational Sascha spoke me through the Swedish massage and gave options of how firm I would like the massage to be done. Would highly recommend, felt comfortable and at ease. Will be back thanks so much

My massage was excellent - all my tension was really worked out which felt so relaxing. Sascha was really friendly and professional and totally put me at ease. Everything was really nicely done - I’ll definitely be returning. Thank you!

What a beautiful experience ! Gemma was very professional, I received the best back & neck massage I've ever had. The hot bed you lay on was a lovely relaxing touch, to the extra comfort facial gap. Gemma created a beautiful relaxing atmosphere to have a massage, from the ambient lighting, to music. My Fiance James, had the best spa treatment, experience ,he's ever had, with Gemma being incredibly professional he said 10/10. We would 100% recommend a massage, facial treatment, to anyone going into Glasgow for a spa treatment.

Nomad Escape is a family-run escape room experience in Glasgow’s Merchant City, featuring immersive themed games and challenging puzzles.

Nomad Escape

Outstanding Escape Room Experience!

We had an absolutely fantastic time at Nomad and couldn’t recommend it highly enough. A huge thank you to Richard, Fran, Stevie and Konstantin for making our visit so memorable. Every member of the team was incredibly friendly, welcoming and passionate, and we had the most amazing time from start to finish.

During our visit, we played The Jail, Deep Space Zero, Conspiracy, and Haunted Circus. A special mention goes to The Jail, which we played with the actor included. Actor added a completely different dimension to the game, bringing so much energy, humour and immersion. It genuinely felt like we were part of the story rather than just solving puzzles in a room. The interactions were hilarious, unexpected and made the experience unforgettable!

Fran, my queen, hats off to you I absolutely loved how this game flowed. You can tell so much thought has gone into the player experience. Everything connected so naturally, and it was one of those rooms where every puzzle felt satisfying and made perfect sense when solved. An absolute joy to play!

Thank you again to Richard, Fran, Stevie and Konstantin for the warm welcome, the laughs, and for creating such an amazing experience. We can’t wait to come back and take on more rooms in the future!xx

W. O. W. This places rules so hard that I haven't stopped bouncing off the walls in over a day. The excitement is real.

We've long been fans of Escape Envelope, the at-home escape games made by the team behind Nomad, so I've waited a long time to try their in-person rooms in Glasgow. The site is super easy to find in the city, and we even found close parking in Duke St car park (only £6 for 24hrs!)

Let me preface this by saying that I am well versed in both escape rooms and horror experiences. So when I say that Nomad Escape is incredible, I mean that its team have created one of the greatest start-to-end experiences I've ever seen. Not just in Scotland. Nomad isn't only great because they're doing live actor horror escape rooms in a UK scene that has very little of that; they're just GREAT in general. Capital G, capital everything. Maybe it was just a place made only for me, but the vibe here is a total vibe where you could happily stay for a long time. Customer service, staff attitude and enthusiasm, waiting area design, props, puzzles, lighting, clever use of audio and music, all the little touches that elevate a place have maxxed out stats.

It almost feels insulting to call Nomad JUST an escape room location... Because the immersion levels of the two rooms we did (Haunted Circus and The Jail) made me feel so giddy and childlike that I needed 24 hours to collect my thoughts and confirm that the feeling was real. Well, yes. It was. This is a place created by immersive experience lovers for people who love immersive experiences. And the perfect place to introduce new players to them!

There's a sense of artistic endeavour and real creativity to it all. So much love is present, movie references and humour are scattered around for those who go searching for them. The lingering spirit of each game makes you feel like it was probably much harder to keep things OUT these rooms than to think of things to put in them.

From start to finish, the customer experience cultivated by the team is stunning. Fran, Richard, Ollie and the team are bright, beautiful and hilariously funny humans. The waiting area is lovingly decorated like a cosy goth living room, the type of place where Chris Issak's Wicked Game would play on loop and the main squad would pick up a new member in a new post-Stranger Things Scooby Doo live action movie.

The live actor element absolutely elevated the experience for an escape room. They don't just exist to jump scare you, and they don't, like is common in continental Europe, perform a scene before every room progression via multiple characters. Here, it is handled with a level of nuance, most of the time ending in a situation where you FEEL their presence, rather than SEE it. That makes it even scarier. We were both trained like pavlov's dogs, a number of times scuttering into a hiding place, terrified of a clown... Only to find that it was just the sound of our own feet moving! And when we WERE touched or chased, there was a genuine purpose to it.

I've been to so many haunts and horror experiences that, no matter how great, don't allow you to truly live in an environment for a little while. Well, here you get a chance to do that. And, by solving puzzles, you feel more like an actor in a movie, making choices and solving problems vs "solving puzzles to escape a room". No puzzles left me so frustrated that I became hellbent on fury (more the puzzles eagerly waiting for the call to burn us instead for excessive overthinking). It's all such a perfect mix.

I will be back ASAP.

We had a fantastic time in the Haunted Circus room, definitely worth it to play with the actor! All of the staff were friendly and helpful and the room was thrilling and just the right amount of frightening. Would recommend to anyone looking for an exciting thing to do in Glasgow.

Just completed The Conspiracy as a team of three and had a great time! Big thanks to our lovely Game Master Konstantin for hosting us and the rest of the staff were so friendly and welcoming too. The decor was gorgeous, perfectly on theme and had some fantastic puzzles with a nice mix of searching and solving and we really enjoyed the technology incorporated into the room. Overall a great experience, would definitely recommend and will certainly be coming back to Nomad to try some more rooms!

We played Prison with some coworkers (Locked In Team!) a couple days ago and had the best time!!!

Our game master Konstantin was incredible and made our game so much fun, we had a such a good time with her. Another thanks to the other staff Richard, Fran and Stevie who were so welcoming and truly made our time so much fun.

I will absolutely be back for another game and highly recommend!

The Craft Pottery is an independent pottery painting studio in Glasgow’s city centre, bringing people together since 2014.

The Craft Pottery - Pottery Painting

"We had a wonderful visit, coming as a group of two adults, two teenagers, and our 4-month-old puppy.
The pottery crafting experience was so relaxing, and the atmosphere and vibe here are an absolute 10/10!
Every member of staff was attentive, friendly and caring, making us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. We brought our own drinks and snacks, and they even thoughtfully provided a dog bowl of fresh water for our puppy too.
There is a fantastic range of pottery items to choose from to paint, plus plenty of paint colours, brushes, stencils and other tools to help you create something truly unique and personal. We all had such a lovely time – we’d highly recommend it!" We will definitely be back.

I always have fun. It's great for first dates, friends, celebrations, or even just when you want to mix things up and do something you don't usually. It's not crazy expensive and you can bring your own food and drink in while you paint. The people that work there are super helpful, even if they did temporarily misplace my pottery one time. It can get pretty loud but that's because the space has hard walls that the sound just bounces back into your ears. If you are planning on bringing your own drinks, I would recommend cans rather than sharing bottles, just for ease but they do sometimes have paper cups if you ask and bottle openers if need be.

A brilliant wee spot. I’ve been here multiple times with friends and boyfriend. I will be bringing my mum soon. I booked 2/3 weeks in advance for a Saturday 6:45pm spot. I recommend arriving 10 minutes in advance, as you can have the full 2 hours to paint (if you are a perfectionist like me). I find it a great spot to tune out and lock in, and I even enjoy the background noise of chatting. Very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Amazing selection of paints. Especially accessible and wheelchair / disabled friendly. However, by using only public transport, the roads are not great to access the building. You have to go on the road. Not the best. Had to uber there instead. I would have rated it 5 stars without the pavement situation. Thank you for a consistent brilliant experience.

Five of us went on Sunday for a friends birthday. I hadn’t done pottery painting since primary school so was really looking forward to it. There is nowhere local to me I can go to do this so traveling to Glasgow was a day out for me! I was a bit flustered at first going in as I didn’t know the set up but once it was explained to us it made sense. I loved exploring my creative side and it was great seeing everybody's designs. I loved it and would go back!

My son and I had a great time. It’s really fun (even for perfectionist OCDers like us). It is a really chill atmosphere, the staff are all friendly. Such a good way to spend a day/evening

Discover Glasgow’s whisky story through guided distillery tours and tastings at The Clydeside Distillery on Finnieston’s historic Clyde waterfront.

The Clydeside Distillery

Absolutely stunning Whisky distillery in Glasgow, right next to the Clyde River. Hence the name Clydeside. We took the guided tour which took around 50min to 1 hour. The tour showed the history of the docks at Glasgow and also important facts about the Scottish Whisky. The tour started with history, went into a theoretical lesson about creating Whisky to then go into the distillery itself and see all the steps, just learned before, live in action. From the mashing to the distillation process itself. At the end there was a quick tasting with three different kinds of Clydeside 's own Whisky. Can highly recommend taking the interesting tour!

Having visited bundles of distilleries this one is different but worth a visit. Within glasgow city so not as picturesque as other scottish distilleries but a good value tour and tasting at £20pp. 3 drams in the tasting is their core ranger unpeated 6yo, sherry finish 6yo and a peated version. All very tasty with flavour beyond its years. Full bottle prices are very reasonable.

We loved our tour of the Clydeside Distillery. A modern place mixed with a historic Port and they share the history. You'll see their process and a museums they have upstairs. The scotch is quite good and our guide Melissa was exceptionally personable. Worth a stop and a short walk from the Riverside museum.

Absolutely beautiful distillery. Brilliant selection of Whisky and the staff know their stuff!

The cafe was cosy and the venison salami with oat crackers are to die for.

Do miss the hot toddies though as it's a great winter warmer but are sadly no longer on the menu, neither are the cakes.

Highly recommend a visit!

Recommended! The tour is quite short but interesting. It ends with a tasting session so make sure you are ready for that.
If you don’t want to drink or are driving, you are offered some glass containers so you can take the samples with you to try later.

Explore the hidden history, tunnels and forgotten platforms beneath Glasgow Central Station on a fascinating guided tour.

Glasgow Central tours

Sinead was such a wonderful advert for the tour!! Passion for all things Central Station was clear to see. After seeing this on TV, this long overdue tour was worth the wait. Great insight to the history & the hopes for the future. All funded by ticket sales, how much more could be done with some lottery funding for example???
Good few stairs to be climbed up & down, so sensible footwear and reasonable fitness required.

Go for it, support this great wee set up.

UNBELIEVABLE, as an ex railway employee, so many memories. Paul is an utter machine with info, banter, laughs and at times serious regarding war stories of gone heroes being returned to their loved ones, it was a rollercoaster of emotions and was just amazed at the story of central. Paul connected with everyone, spoke to everyone, called me beardy, cheeky rascal, pot kettle, honestly it is worth every single penny to see this. Allow up to 90 mins to 2 hours which it was,it went in in feeling 40 mins it was that entertaining. I know we will be back as there are plans in pencil to do more to the walk. The forgotten Victorian platform was a dark gloomy place as it still had the gunk and soot from the steam train arrivals. Honestly, get on this like a seagull on a chip. So informative, and never knew just how vast it is under the station. Paul, you are a Central legend, shame the jokes were as bad as christmas cracker jokes lol. Anyone had questions, he answered and was mingling with everyone, approachable to a T. The stuff from ye olden days was lovely, brought back memories for me anyway. Even non railway audience were as quiet as a mouse when Paul was speaking as it was railway but also the war, what was there and all the stuff had a story. A++++++++++++++

fyi dont listen to the bores that moaned about car parks, They played a part as well back in the day, As all the areas did

The tour was interesting and informative of our beautiful central station . Sinead gave us a good insight to what had gone on throughout the years and we got to see parts of the station you can no longer publicly access. The best part for me was seeing a train pass from victorian platform.

Paul our tour guide was the best ever.
Seven months after breaking his neck and back in an accident he is still giving tours imparting his knowledge with humour and infectious enthusiasm.
It was such an interesting tour, both nostalgic and informative. The history of the station is amazing and told by a master of his trade with tales that literally had us all laughing out loud.
If you are considering this tour, l urge you to go ahead and book it, it was a truly fantastic day out.
Thank you Paul.

Brilliant tour. Very informative and great to see the hidden workings of the station and its history! If you are considering this tour, get it booked!

Overall the experience was great, good conversation and environment. We've done the Make Your Own Mug Friday Workshop. For a workshop I was slightly disappointed because there wasn't much explaining aside from in the beginning very briefly. Both me and my partner don't have experience doing pottery, aside of me doing a similar event once for Halloween somewhere else... where the piece turned out very well. My partner's pieces ended up with a base too thin which resulted in some cracks and the cups are not reusable for the purpose that it was meant.

The glazing, as far as I understand, is really good with the exception of the bottom of one of the mugs/cups. Where the glazing seemed to have drip too much and ended up solidifying, resulting in the cup not being flat at the bottom. Not sure what could be done here, but if possible to have been sanded somehow then probably it should've been done before being ready for collection.

I probably would go back for ceramic painting, but a bit disappointed with the lack of supervision during the workshop, since we were only 4 people. I will leave the photo of the glazing dripping beyond the base vs the other cup where the base is good.

I had a mug painted in this place, where upon pick up I realised the glazing smudged most of my painting (they probably didn't wait till it's fully dry) and it was applied so bad you can see air bubbles everywhere. I had used the mug twice and only hand washed it and the glazing is now all cracked. I emailed them and asked for a refund but my emails were ignored. Poor service, do not recommend.

Complete con. They advertise a session for £8. Somewhere at at the bottom of the webpage which you have no reason to scroll down to they mention paying for extra items on the day with no clarity but the actual bill for 4 people was £103 for a basic rough mug that you paint yourself, bring your own wine and get charged corkage. This is supposed to be a community group…for who? Only affluent people in the community who can afford to be completely conned by false advertising??

Discover over 450 years of brewing history on the Tennent’s Brewery Tour at Wellpark Brewery in Glasgow’s East End.

Tennent’s Visitor Centre

Visit today for the brewery tour. This was a gift for my birthday and took my old man along with me. Calum was our tour guide and was very informative. Open to questions and answered all well.

The history of the site was really interesting as well as some of the modern day facts and figures in terms of sales and production. An hours tour which I would recommend.

This is a tour any beer lover would enjoy. Finished off with a crisp fresh poured Tank Pint of Tennants. We also had a round of flight beers in the bar afterwards which again calum explained all three well.

Great to now know the bar in the brewery which is well priced if open daily till 6pm

This your was just brilliant. Great staff throughout my experience and got to see the factory in full flow canning, bottling and kegs.
Was shown around by a great guy who was accommodating and full of facts about this huge brewery. The museum is also worth a wander around to give you the full family history and a look at all the old bottles and cans over the years and the bar upstairs serves unfiltered tenants which was exceptional.
Very engaging staff all super friendly and helpful.
Would throughly recommend if you have a few hours to spend and learn something new about Tennants brews.

One of the must things to do when in Glasgow
Excellent tour showing the inner workings of the brewery and the guide Callum was great. After the tour you then get your free pint of the freshest Tennents that you will ever have. 🙌🏻🍻

Can highly recommend this tour! We are Glasgow born and bred and we really enjoyed hearing the local history. Calum our guide was funny and relatable. Definitely go!

3 of us did the tour on 23rd May and all really enjoyed it! Very informative whilst keeping it interesting and entertaining. Have to say our tour guide, Tony, was spot on! Out of all the whisky and brewery tours I've done, he is by far the best guide and did the best tour I've done and that's saying a lot as a previous Tennents objector 🤣. Highly recommend, a must do when in Glasgow
